Treadmills are an excellent way of losing weight and staying fit, however many people put off doing their exercise routines until the end of the day. This can be really costly and could mean that you never actually get round to doing your workout.

There's a science to working out and burning the most fat. With a morning exercise routine, you're revving up your body's performance level for the rest of the day. When you go to sleep at night, there's a big gap of time where your body is not being fed any fuel to function.

If you use your treadmill to do a thorough cardio exercise routine you will force your body to burn more fat to create the energy it needs. This is because first thing in a morning your blood glucose and glycogen levels are always at their lowest points.

The majority of people believe the best way to start a new day is with a large breakfast, however, this may not actually be the case. Every time you eat, your body releases insulin which actually reduces the amount of fat you burn. This is especially true if you eat a lot of carbohydrates.

By adding a good workout on your treadmill to your morning routine you will be able to use up your body fat, which is a much more effective method of weight loss compared with eating a meal which will only add to your fat reserves and do nothing to reduce them.

The important thing to remember is that you want to get on your treadmill before you eat your breakfast because you will lose more weight this way! If you eat a breakfast and then get on your treadmill to do your exercise routine, you will only burn off the calories you have just eaten, without burning off any of the calories that were already stored in your body.

Another great advantage to working out in the morning is that the treadmill exercise will help to speed up your metabolism, which means that you will be able to burn calories quicker throughout the day. The sooner you can get your metabolism into top gear, the longer you will be able to burn calories most efficiently, which all helps you to lose weight.

If you wait until the evening to do your treadmill workout, your body won't get the full benefits, because it goes to sleep shortly thereafter. Anyone who works out first thing in the morning will tell you that they get a great boost of energy that lasts them throughout the day.

Morning workouts on the treadmill also help with your eating habits. As you get on a schedule of exercising in the morning, you'll notice that your cravings begin to subside and binge eating becomes a thing of the past.
