St. Patricks Day is a fun celebration for all ages. Let your little ones enjoy St. Patricks Day by teaching them how to make their own Leprechaun eyeglasses . A leprechaun is a part of an Irish legend that will bring you to a pot of gold. The legend also says that leprechauns have hidden treasures and the only way to get them is by catching and interrogating one.

Making leprechaun eyeglasses is very quick and easy but first you must gather the materials. You will need the following: green construction paper or cardboard paper, a pipe cleaner, a pair of scissors and green cellophane. Cut along the green construction paper in the shape of eye glasses. Cut through the center to make eyeholes. Paste green cellophane through the cellophane. Poke the sides and insert the pipe cleaner and gently twist the ends. Place it on your ear and gently curve the end to form. Have fun with your eyeglasses and design it with embellishments.

To make handprint shamrock you must first gather the materials. You will need: light green and green-colored construction paper, scissors and glue. Place a childs hand on the green construction paper and trace. Make three hand traces following the shape of the three leafed clover. Next, cut out the hand traces. Place the hand trace on the light green construction paper and trace a big three-clover leaf. Cut it and glue a stem at the bottom using the green colored construction paper.

Have fun and enjoy with your St. Patricks Day crafts. Invite your friends kids over your home and arrange crafts lessons for them to enjoy. Encourage the parents to participate too!

Why don't you spread this article around with your friends so they would also have fun spending their St. Patricks Day by bonding with their kids and making crafts? - 20761
