Have you ever wondered how a crack can ruin a whole concrete slab and is there such a way to repair it? Is it really possible for cracks to be gone totally so the concrete could look good as new? Concrete Resurfacing answers these questions and is actually the easiest and quickest way to restore your concrete floor; even a non-pro can do it. Concrete Resurfacing does not only repair but also improve the whole appearance of your concrete floor.

Small cracks are always easier to repair through application of primer coat and basecoat. Primer coat fills in the gap between the cracks. It is important to choose a shade one or two shades lighter or darker so there could be no visible crack lines. Large cracks are usually harder and take longer to process. It is important to prepare the surface prior to the concrete resurfacing process.

Surface preparation involves different materials depending on the dirt and stain that tend to settle on your concrete floor. For simple dirt, dust and grime a household detergent or soap mixed with water may do the trick. The solution is then poured onto the stained area and scrubbed down. Power washing is also a common procedure in concrete cleaning. This involves pressurized water coming out of a nozzle. For grease and oil stains a mixture of alkali degreaser and hot water may do the trick.

Before resurfacing the area should be thoroughly cleaned and void of dirt, dust, stains and grime. Simple dirt, dust and grime can be removed through a water mixture of water and household detergent or soap and scrubbing it in the affected area. Power washing is also commonly used as the process of using a power washer that involves pressurized water coming out of a nozzle. Grease and oil stain ca be removed through alkali degreaser mixed with hot water.

Prime coat and granule broadcast is applied all over before applying the ultra surface polymer as texture coat, trowel to finish. A Color coat and seal coat is added allowing 2-3 days curing time. - 20761
